As its name suggests, the Chanel 19 bag was produced in 2019 by Karl Lagerfeld and the Chanel team. It was inspired by Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel's classic 2.55 bag which was originally created in 1955. The Chanel 19 is a flap bag too, but it has oversized puffy quilting and it’s more casual. Instead of a dainty chain like the 2.55 bag, the Chanel 19 features an edgy, oversized chain.
The Chanel 19 flap bag comes in five different sizes, including the Wallet on Chain, Waist Bag, Small, Large, and Maxi flap bag. Some websites refer to the small size as a medium and the large as a maxi. Make sure you are reading the dimensions as every site may display the title of the bags differently since they were updated!
All the Chanel 10 bags have similar features but differ mainly in size.
